This week’s recommended reading is a non-fiction title, The Enemy Within: A History of Espionage, by Terry Crowdy.
Check out my book review in the video below.
It covers the waterfront from ancient Chinese espionage to the Cold War and beyond. So the thing is, it’s written in such an engaging manner that it almost reads at times like a spy novel. It literally … there were times when it was a real page-turner. But it is, nonetheless, a history book and a reference book, so unless you’re really interested in history and espionage, in particular, it might not be your thing.
But I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you have any interest at all in the topic, read this book. It truly covers so much and in such an engaging way. So that’s really all I had to say and thanks for listening as always and talk to you next time!
You can buy the book from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Kobo, and Indiebound. (Includes some affiliate links.)
