Hi everyone. Well, let’s see if this works. I’ve already tried three times to make this video. Four times if you count the time on my iPhone. Anyway, I had a great weekend, made it very clear going to one webinar that I don’t want an agent, a literary agent, because their values are completely at odds with mine. At least this one agent.
Having discerned that, I went to another video webinar where we talked about self-care, which was much more helpful than listening to this agent yammer on about algorithms.
Anyway, what I was going to say was along with cleaning out a lot of crap from my office that I never look at anymore or storing it in a place where I can find it, I would recommend reading this book, How to Live a Meaningful Life and Your Money or Your Life. I think I’ve mentioned these books before, but since I haven’t been able to finish a book lately because I have so many to read and I’m making all sorts of triage decisions about which ones to read.
Having said that, I will say that it was a very good weekend to see a movie about making choices in your life and not regretting them. And if you do regret them, maybe you need to rethink what you’ve done. That’s what it comes down to. Your life is about making choices and making the choices that are good for you, which may not be the same choices that somebody out there making recommendations for you is making under completely different circumstances than yours.
So on that note, I will only say stay tuned and keep the faith or whatever.
Thank you for watching and choose your moments carefully, honestly. Live a little. Do things that make you happy. Take a rest now and then. The Body Keeps [the] Score as that book title says. It really does. Take care and be seeing you.
PS: Want to read the “metadescription”? 🙂 Here it is:
This one is all about my interesting weekend, in which I 1) found one agent I know I don’t want, 2) organized my office, and 3) relaxed.
Think that’ll help my Amazon Google ranking? 🙂
