So, it’s already the end of March and what have I accomplished for this quarter?
I’ve reached Chapter 24 of my latest novel-in-progress.
I’ve adapted a short script into a short story.
I’ve tweaked other scripts.
I’ve joined an online writers’ room.
I’ve entered a few screenwriting contests.
I’ve likely taken every form of webinar in existence.
I’ve started making an inventory of my IP assets. And, frankly, there’s quite a bit to cover there.
I’ve published eight novels—one of which made the New York Times bestseller list (years and years ago) and another which was nominated for a prestigious award. (These are among my IP assets, developed over the last couple of decades—not in the past quarter alone.)
I’ve published other books about film noir and neo-noir movies. (More assets I’ve developed over years.) And started a second podcast on the subject. A monthly podcast, co-hosted with another author. (Started in this quarter.)
I’ve submitted one of my short stories to a publication and am finishing up another to submit somewhere else. In fact, I have more than one short story written, but not published.
And, yet … so much needs doing still.
How does that happen?
Anyway, things to do include:
Revisie the short script I’d like to make into a film—again!
Make substantial headway on my novel-in-progress.
Organize my damned office.
Get my shit together in general.
Take a day off!
And get ready for what comes next!

Seen while walking today! 🙂

PS: I haven’t noticed a huge drop in income now that my ebooks are no longer on Amazon. I’m barely aware of any difference whatsoever.
