Everyone talks about the writer’s journey. But what about the mission? Why do you want to write?
Well, after being forced to listen to a wehinar that I actually benefited from, I wrote this mission statement. So, here it is then.
I promise to share thought-provoking content, review books, and provide a forum for discussion. I will encourage literacy and thoughtful discourse, and aim to promote sanity in times of disruption and anxiety. I’ll share practical tips that may help, or perhaps wander off-topic—but with intention. I’ll draw on 30 years of experience writing fiction, learning to write screenplays, and directing my first short film to advise others and provide opportunities to network and collaborate.
