The problem with moving fast and breaking things is that you may have no idea what you’ve got yourself into until it’s much tougher to change your approach, once you’re fully invested in a particular platform or marketing strategy.
We create habits of doing things. If we pick good habits, we should get good results. However, if you rely only on algorithms, you’re going to need to write constantly for publication to get anywhere.
Also ads! I keep hearing about using ads for visibility. However, what if you don’t make enough to pay for ads? What if you are simply sick of seeing ads everywhere?
What would you give for an ad-free online experience? Hmm …! 🙂
The problem of moving fast and breaking things is similar to the problem with taking on too many side hustles. Eventually, you’re going to burn out or go nuts nowhere.
So … here I am trying to choose the best frog to eat next step to take!
I still don’t have all the answers, but I know of someone found this on Substack!

I think I’ve been doing most of that. Maybe.
But that doesn’t help me with the networking and screenwriting part. Bummer.
Or does it? I don’t know. I wish I had all the answers.

But this is what happens when you have three or four blogs, three Substack accounts, including this one, this one, and this one, and two Patreon pages, including this one and this one.
Looks like I have to rethink my approach to marketing … again. 🙂
The problem with moving fast and breaking things is that if you never stop to think and plan your next move, you might be wasting time.
However, I have set up a shop here. My entire Sam McRae mystery series can be purchased there now. Hey, it’s a start! 🙂
Even so, I plan to attend this conference in September.
Because this is real, too.

This is also real.

PS: Did I forget to mention I’m also on Medium? 🙂
PPS: So … this basically ad-free Facebook and blogging combined? 🙂 Right?
