Update on my 30-Day Digital Declutter Project

Hi, this is the second time I’ve made this video because the last time I did it, I didn’t look at the camera, which is … it gets really kind of distracting actually, when you look at me doing that. Anyway, I just wanted to talk about what I’ve been doing since I haven’t really been on Twitter actively.

Just auto-tweets that I can’t really seem to stop, because they just take too much effort. And I haven’t been on Facebook, and I will just say that I haven’t particularly missed them. I’m sorry. I mean, but I think about the people that I’ve met there and yeah, I think of them frequently actually, and wonder how they’re doing. But you’re in my thoughts, whoever you are, the ones who I interact with there on Twitter. And the other thing I was gonna say was I have been … I just want to talk about what I’ve been doing since I stopped pretty much using social media, those social media at any rate, I’m still on Instagram.

I have looked at all the changes to the audiobook version of Riptide, which will be out hopefully by the middle of July. And I have also gotten my proof copy of my latest book called Damaged Goods, which is my novella with a new protagonist, Erica Jensen, a female Marine with post traumatic stress problems and an opioid addiction. So I hope that people will enjoy it. Then the other thing I wanted to mention was that I went through the whole thing and have made all these corrections that need to be made and they’re being fixed right now. Then the other thing I was going to mention is that my podcast is starting up and in fact, will have started up, I guess, the Sunday before you see this. So if you go to my website, debbimack.com, you can find Crime Cafe, Season Six on there, either on my blog or through the Crime Cafe part of my website. Just click on “Crime Cafe” and look for the dropdown menu.

Anyway, that’s really all I had to say. And I’ve got blogging and administrative and all the other things you gotta do. But other than that I’m trying to keep my spirits up and trying to keep writing and keep things rolling here. So I hope things are going well for you as well. And I mean, well under the circumstances, not ideal circumstances. Oh happy belated, Canada Day and Fourth of July to everyone.

I guess. 🙂 Wherever you may be located, I hope you’re having a good day, in any case. See you later.

PS: I, yeah, I knew I’d forget something. And of course I didn’t look at the camera when I started, but this, this is really cool. I’ve read through the entire thing and made notes and I would love to talk about this screenplay and how it’s structured if anybody’s interested in that sort of thing, because really this … it’s just a piece of genius here. And I made these notes in the margin. I took pictures of so many of them, it’s ridiculous. But, in any case, it’s a great screenplay and well worth a discussion if anybody’s interested.

Thanks. That’s it!
