Hi, everyone. Well, I don’t have a review, but I have been posting a series of questions that I’ve been going through to figure out what I am most interested in doing from here on, what my goals are. And if you’ve ever wanted to kind of revisit your own goals and think about what you’re doing, they might be helpful to you.
I’ve been posting them. I’m going to post some more questions or whatever prompts, if you will, on my blog, Random and Sundry Things. But if that’s of interest to you, I will include a link to the blog post where I started doing this in the show notes for this video. Meanwhile, I have this book called Your Money or Your Life, which is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I’m rereading it now and relearning just how wonderful it is. Also, this is one I’m reviewing.
I got an advanced reader copy, reviewer copy of this and it’s really cool. It’s a great little book, Rules of Thumb: 44 Principles to Live, Work, and Thrive By. It’s really cool. There’s some stuff in here that … I mean, basically these are concepts that we’re all kind of familiar with or heard about and there’s an explanation of where they come from. There’s even an explanation of Murphy’s Law in here that basically goes against what most people would think Murphy’s Law is. That’s all I’ll say.
It’s a fun little book and I’m making my way through it in between reading everything else that I’m reading, including screenplays. I’m trying to get back into reading more screenplays now because I’m going to be doing some pretty intense screenplay reading in the next few weeks. I’m also working on my first film, finishing that up. Yeah, I was playing around a little with it yesterday on Sunday and now I just need to kind of have somebody look at it who can do color correction and tell me if I’m really screwing things up or if I need to do something differently, something.
Just get a critique of that and go from there. Hopefully have it ready for the next Charm City screening, I hope. Meanwhile, there’s another movie that I’m in pre-production on called “Surprise”, which I’m starting to think more about, it’s starting to occupy some brain space there that really needs some attention.
So on the whole I’m keeping busy despite everything, every impulse I have to stop sometimes. Be that as it may. That was all I had to say. So at some point I would like to do kind of like a behind the scenes of the movie thing. If I can ever get my act together enough to do that and have enough energy. I don’t know what it takes these days for me. I just keep going and keep trying. Anyway, that’s it for now and thanks for listening. Thanks for watching and be seeing you. Take care.
