Hey, I literally found this post by accident in my drafts. So I added a bit more, because the advice I’d given is still sound. Thank God for something not changing or disrupting shit, am I right? 🙂
Okay, so here’s what I wrote, with a little extra at the end.
Hi! I just want to make a couple of recommendations, if you’re an indie author and want to know where to best invest your money.
One of the things I would definitely recommend is looking into Scrivener, because Scrivener is great for organizing information and storing it, and I have some tips and tricks as far as storage and organization, other things that they may or may not teach you in other courses. I don’t know. They’re things I’ve just picked up on my own actually.
If that interests you at all, please let me know. And I’ll do some more videos on those two applications, in particular. Just let me know in the comments, if you’re interested in hearing more about Scrivener or Vellum. Especially if you have specific questions, I’d really appreciate hearing those, because I can’t always anticipate what it is people are struggling with. So that’s it. And thanks. I’ll talk to you later.
PS: Check out The Writing and Marketing Show!
PPS: All I can say is that I’m astounded honored!
That’s my podcast at #2! We’re like Avis. We try harder. 🙂
And for those who weren’t born then don’t know, Avis is a car rental company, which is what people used to use before there was Uber. Well, that and taxicabs. Oh, and streetcars! Remember those? I don’t, because I’m not that old.
Okay, clearly I ned to organize this section better. But here’s what I got.
