Hi! I’m going to recommend a YouTube video, actually, another YouTube video. It’s called “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek. Simon Sinek’s TED talk, “Start with Why”. (Here’s another link to his talk.)

I’m recommending that for everybody, because I just think that’s really kind of the secret to knowing what it is you should do and what you want to do. And maybe I’ve gone over this already. It’s just, it gets to the heart of what I’ve been saying all along. Everything about what you do is an expression of yourself. So what better than to start with the question of why? Why do you do what you do? When you think about that, it will naturally lead you in the right directions in terms of what you do and how you do it. So, yeah, I mean, I’ve talked about this and values.

So why am I making this video? I am making it because I cannot stress it enough. I can’t stress enough how important it is to understand your own values and why you do what you do. I will only add that by understanding the why, you may end up going into directions you never expected to go and you might be afraid to go there, but it actually might be a good time to rethink that if you’re really, really into it and you have a goal in mind. It is that desire that will keep you engaged and interested enough to keep doing what you’re doing and doing it well. I hope that makes sense.
