Things That Happened While I Wasn’t On the Internet

11/11/2025 by Debbi

Hi. Well, gosh, it’s hard to know what to talk about because so much is going on right now. I just found out that the 10th Wave is going to be screening our short films. Assuming I can get it done in time, mine will be one of them on, I think it’s December 6th. Let me take a look at that and double check that and see if that was actually the case. I hope you’ll excuse me while I do this. I’m flipping through my emails here. Where is the email? Here it is. “We will be screening films at the Parkway Theater on Saturday, December 6th. So do you think you will have your film ‘Absolution’ fully edited and ready to screen by then? If so, can you get it to me by Thursday, December 4th?” That’s a very good question.

My May 2025 Update

Hey, I don’t have a book review or much of an update except to say that I am in the midst of pre-production on a short film. And, just thinking aloud here, I had been having some thoughts about Facebook, things I’ve seen on Facebook, people who write long tirades about the political situation, various political situations. Anyway, I’m not into that, but I have to say that there are probably a few things that bear our attention, and I think it’s good that people care. However, I was also thinking, rather than write a long tirade on Facebook, why not write an op-ed for a newspaper?

Monthly Accountability for January 2024

Hi. One of the things I’d like to do is start keeping kind of an accountability chart or whatever, just keeping track of what I’m doing, what I plan to do, and what I actually accomplish to see if I’m actually making any progress whatsoever.
