Hi everyone. Just a quick update for me. I’m in the midst of post-production on my short film, so I haven’t had much time to do much else this morning, really, other than get a little exercise in, which is important. But that was really all I had to say.
Hi everyone. Yeah, I just wanted to talk about my day off of the internet for 24 hours. I kept a journal throughout the day. Actually, I had started off in the morning not feeling very good because I woke up at like five o’clock in the morning in pain. So I’m not going to read you that part because I’m just rattling on about my pain and how horrible that was. So anyway, I stayed off the internet for the most part. At one point I did go to Duolingo because I want to keep my streak going. That was the only reason I got on the internet yesterday, unless you count the ebook that I read. Okay. Technically, that’s the internet.
Hi everyone. I’m just going to talk today a little bit about the importance of keeping a journal if you want to be a writer. The reason I say that is I think it’s through journaling that I really found my voice as a writer, and I think that’s reflected in modern times on blogs, people blog to find their voices, so that’s my speculation anyway. People are just more open about sharing stuff now online than back in the days when I kept a journal and it was meant to be for me. Although I did as part of a class keep a journal, which is why I’m, I’m suggesting doing it. It’s kind of like, okay, I learned from doing it and you can learn from doing it too. But I think the reason I wanted to talk about this also, I had the opportunity to basically do an informational interview with two students at the University of Maryland.
Hi. Well, let’s see, it’s the end of the year. And so what I want to do is start establishing some new habits. Now it’s interesting that this coincides with the end of the year, because I always say, I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions and I don’t, but I do believe that you can change at any time.
